The Goal.
Safe Space is a speculative and innovative app designed to help women and men feel safe in any space they are in. Even though this app is not meant to be real, its creation was to bring awareness to a very real issue in our world. Stalking is an offense that is extremely hard to keep track of and prove when being reported. Statistics show you are more likely to be stalked and attacked by someone you know.
The Solution.
This app is designed to alert you when someone you're suspicious of enters your safe space and then allows you to take action right through the easy-to-use interface. It also keeps a detailed history which can be helpful if and when one wanted to report a person to law enforcement. Unchecked stalking is extremely dangerous; Safe Space was designed to help victims feel safer and can help prevent its too often fatal outcomes.
